CIRTL Faculty Involvement

CIRTL provides opportunities for faculty to engage with graduate students and postdoctoral scholars both locally and through CIRTL Network events and workshops. Faculty at all levels can participate with CIRTL in multiple ways:

  • Connecting students with CIRTL as a way to enhance their skills as teaching assistants, course instructors, and as future faculty
  • Connecting students with training and teaching opportunities
  • Serving as mentors for teaching development and Teaching as Research (TAR) projects
  • Facilitating a workshop or event (for local or network learning community) on a topic related to CIRTL core ideas. See examples of CIRTL events
