Sci-athon (in-person)

Sci-athon is a 48-hour competition that challenges interdisciplinary teams of STEM graduate students and post-docs to tackle key issues that affect society. It is hosted by the UNC Chemistry department and will be held from May 24-26th. This year’s theme is “From Waste to Wealth: Innovating Sustainability with Upcycling Science.” Groups work together to present their proposal to a panel of industry judges who then choose the best ideas to win prizes!
Here are some benefits of joining the Sci-athon competition:
