Planning for the European PostDoc: Opportunities and Considerations
March 9, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm
The final phase of any doctoral program invariably brings questions about the academic and research job market – and whether and how to seek a postdoc position as an employment goal. A recent international survey revealed ongoing anxieties about the postdoc experience but also optimism about a world that increasingly needs and depends on academic expertise. In this seminar sponsored by the Royster Society of Fellows and the Center for European Studies, postdoc researchers, faculty, and staff share information about opportunities in Europe and considerations for planning a postdoc career in Europe and future career impacts.
