Pathway mapping for professional success in higher education
July 31 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Graduate students, you are invited to join this two-part event, regardless of what stage you are in your career. Please join us to reflect on your career journey and sources of support in that journey.
Mentoring is critical to career success and persistence, and building and understanding mentoring networks will help you feel more confident and have tools to be successful in your career journeys. In this workshop, you will reflect on your career journey and sources of support in that journey using a living document known as a mentor map. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Describe and identify the different roles that relationships play in your career journey
- Create a pathway map, a living document that can be used to reflect and assess the role you and others play in your professional and personal development
This two-part online workshop meets in Zoom on Thursdays, July 17 and July 31.
Registration opens on Monday, June 30 at noon.
