NSF Graduate Research Fellowships

The prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship for earlier career scientists is open to undergraduate seniors and first & second year graduate students in STEM fields. The fellowship offers 3 years of support including $34,000 annual stipend and $12,000 cost-of-education allowance (to the institution). Note: Applicants must not have a Masters degree or more than 12 months of postbaccalaureate training.
This workshop presented by Dr. Ashalla Freeman and will provide the following:
- Overview of the mission of the NSF GRFP
- Review of GRF application components and the review process
- Tips for crafting a competitive application and determining when to apply
- Insights from GRF awardees for crafting an award-winning application AND NSF GRF Reviewers will provide advice about what they look for in strong applications and common errors/omissions to avoid
