NIH F31 Workshop for Doctoral Students

The National Research Service Award (NRSA) F31 from NIH is a common avenue for obtaining doctoral (PhD)-level funding. Its primary purpose is to ensure the TRAINING of doctoral-level scientists to carry out the nation’s biomedical and behavioral research agenda. This workshop will review eligibility and which NIH institutes fund F31s, and the basics of writing an F31 for the research, training, and mentoring plans with the sponsor(s) (i.e., mentors).
