Graduate Altac Working Group – First Meeting

This is a planning event for the UNC Alt-Ac Graduate Student Working Group. If you’re a graduate student interested in Alternative Academia, that is, careers that are off the tenure-track but that still fall within the higher education context, come be part of planning what alt-ac events should be held this year. Do you want to develop skills related to alt-ac positions? Do you want to learn how to search and apply for alt-ac jobs? Do you want to network with alt-ac professionals in the Triangle? Come advocate for these kinds of workshops! This event is meant to be a follow-up to two graduate alt-ac workshops that were held in the Spring of 2015, but all graduate students are welcome regardless of year, field, experience, or interest level in alt-ac.
