Future Proofing Your Ph.D.

This two hour long workshop will discuss alternate academic careers and provide participants with tips to secure employment in these positions. Led by Brenda Bethman Ph.D., Director of the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Women’s Center and founder of Alt-Academix, this highly interactive session provides concrete and immediate assistance for graduate students in any discipline who want to be better prepared to land a job that is both fulfilling and full­-time without leaving the academy.
