Course Development Institute for Graduate Students

Are you teaching a course for the first time as an instructor of record? Have you taught before and want to revise or refresh the content? This workshop will use Backward Course Design to assist instructors on developing a syllabus, model lesson planning, creating learning objectives, ideas for student-centered engagement, and how to evaluate students’ learning outcomes. Bring your own course materials for discussion, revising, and sharing. Participants are expected to attend both sessions and are based on active engagement in workshop format thus, these sessions will not be recorded.
