Academic Faculty Job Search Panel

PhD and postdoctoral trainees will hear from new and seasoned faculty on a range of academic job search topics, including
- What separates successful candidates from the rest of the pack
- Tips for up and coming future faculty members
- How to choose an institution that is a good fit for you
- Unexpected challenges encountered
Both a STEM-focused panel and a Humanities/Social Sciences-focused panel will be offered. The event format will include a 60-minute panel presentation with Q&A facilitated by student leaders on campus, followed by a 30-minute active-networking period of round-table discussions and informal networking.
